Hello everyone,
I thought that I would introduce ourselves before you come along with us on our adventure, and then give you some tips before you leave.
Well first of all my name is Jenn, I will be travelling to India with Luba and Janet. We met at school while taking a travel program, and thought it would be really cool to take a trip to india together, so with some help from our professors we have finally finished planning this trip and we are now on our way.
But first here are some important information that you should know.
1. India's currency- the Indian Rupee
2. The voltage is 230-240V make sure you have the appropriate plugs so that you can easily convert your power
3. You must have a valid Canadian Passport and a visa in- order to travel within India.
4. The languages that they speak in India are: Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Bengali, Kashmiri, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati,and Telugu just to name a few.
